Re: [APML] Neat and aurora !

Dom, I was thinking of you when I checked the aurora forecast on Tuesday - glad you saw it. Nothing here though. Your friend Jean's picture is very nice.

The SC shot is excellent! We in the Northeast of North America are shooting through very muddy skies this week. At least you and I are.

Subject: [APML] Neat and aurora !

Hi all !

Tuesday night , I went to the observatory at St-Neree ( 65km S-W of Quebec city ) where I took some pics of Neat with the schmidt-camera and during the session , we saw a green glow in north direction ! During the day , I was too preocupied by the way how to shoot the comet with the SC then I forgot my camera at home , then no aurora picture for me ! My friend Jean Chiasson took some pics that you can see here

For the comet , I was glad to see more details in binoculars that I saw last friday ... that encourage me to take more pictures of Neat :) you can see a picture here where the film fuji superia 800 dont show much details as Chris Schur picture but it's encouraging :)
here's the link

Clear skies !
