Thanks Dom! <g> It was a little headeche to get that result.

Well, I have to disagree (a bit.. from a different point of view). It is true that it records the reds and blue good enough, but it looks like E200 is faster in the reds, and with the same equivalent exposure it is a little deeper. I miss that with the Provia. It is so good with the other layer, that some nebulaes are lost. It is the case here near the center of the LMC, and in my Can Mayor shot, in the middle, where a large nebula is barely seen above the blues of the milky way. If you see the a and b channel, and adjust the levels/curves, you can clearly see all the structures in the nebulaes.
What is my point of all of this? Just that I thing that a better choise could be to use E200 to get a luminance (or TP), and the Provia 400F for the crominance information. I'll try that when I get my new scanner and digitalice some E200 shots of the same objects, that are waiting in the archives <g>.

Carlos Milovic F.
