[APML] Meade 201XT + Meade LX5 and/or Meade 2080

Anybody have a description on how to modify an Meade LX5 and/or 2080
handpad/controller to allow autoguider input from a Meade Pictor 201XT?

Pinouts from the 201XT?

Should I bother with the LX5 or 2080, or are the mounts not up to
astrophotography?
