 Hey Chris...

     Beauty! The best I've seen from the northern hemisphere pass. I got a couple that hinted of the tail, but needed a few more minutes exposure with the equipment I have to use. The Schmidt rules for this bad boy!

      I understand that Q4 has fallen short of earlier predictions, and that many in the northern tier of states have had bad weather since it became visible. Still, there seems to be a surprising lack of enthusiasm overall... Q4 isn't as flashy as Hale-Bopp, but shoot, how often do we have a naked eye comet visible all evening? Not often enough, I'd say! (the beatings will continue until morale improves :-)

      Glad you got out to view and shoot this visitor... thanks for sharing the image here. I can't wait 'til I get another chance at it... the weather's not looking too good here for the next few days.
