[APML] Visual on C/2001 Q4 (NEAT)

I just got back from my club's observing site in central New York State. We had an unusually transparent night (for New York). The comet was readily apparent but not bright - it was just below a mag 3.5 star and I'd estimate the comet was slightly dimmer - maybe 3.7?

Not much of a tail, at least visually. The typical stellar nucleus, a slightly oblong coma, and maybe some hints of a tail, visually. I observed through my polar-mounted 10" LX200, through 15x50 binoculars, and visually (just barely). Overall, I'd say it's a nice little comet, but certainly not a great comet.

I photographed it on Supra 400 through a 200 mm lens f/4 lens at f/5.6 piggybacked on the LX200. I'll get the film developed on Saturday and see if there's anything there worth posting.
