Re: [APML] Six new wide field astrophotos
Hi all
I uploaded a new version of the Crux pic:
http://download.astrophoto.vze.com/crux2.jpgThe previous version was blended with a shorter exposure using a Marumi DIFF filter (following Marco's article). The main difference is that now the brightest stars are bigger, and more colorfull. I think that now it looks much better. What do you think?

Hi all
Sorry for the lack of a nice presentation... I just
has been very busy. Hope you'll like them.
All of the pics were taken last december, using a
Canon F1 camera, Provia 400F (pushed 2 steps) and an
average time of 20 minutes each. All scanned with a
SS35 at 2700dpi, and resampled at 1/3 for web
purposes. Digital threatment using Pleiades PixInsight
1.0 (beta).

5.- "Andromeda"
Pegasus, Andromeda, etc., etc., etc. Just see M31 and
M33 in this very wide field image. Canon FD 28mm f/2.8

Also see the original image (raw, at 1/4) here:

All those gradients due atmospheric extinsion and
light pollution were extracted using PixInsight's DBE
tool. Amazing, isnt?
6.- "Crux"
The Southern Cross... I have a diffused image to blend
with this one, but not the time to do this... yet.

Any suggestions are as always ver

destroy them)
