RE: [APML] OT: My imaging trip to Chile



Steve,

 It might not necessarily be a once in a lifetime thing. The flight time is
only 16 hours approximately including stopovers. The drive from La Serena to
the site is 2.5 hours. So timewise it is not too bad. Furthermore, the cost
of living there is quite a bit less than the States which makes the trip
reasonably affordable. The thing which gets you is the car rental. For some
reason car rental is expensive.
