Last night I spotted the comet in a pair of 10x50 binoculars even though 
there was a full moon on the opposite horizon.  A 4-second, f/2, iso 800 
exposure is at:

The moon should be out of the way long enough on Thursday night to try 
to capture it on film through the telescope.
