Bobby,

If my calculations are correct.  Comet NEAT will move about 12.5"
per minute.  At 165 mm, an acceptable guiding tolerance is around
25"; therefore, you could "guide" on a star for about 2 minutes
before the comet starts trailing.  Because of this, I would
recommend guiding on the comet.
