Hey Bobby...
Q4 will reach peak brightness on the 6th, 7th and 8th of this month... this is predicted to be mag 0.9 !!! The moon will interfere some on these dates, but it should remain in the mag 1.x range until about May 20th.
Telescopically, it will be visible until late '04, early '05... it becomes circumpolar in June, and remains so until it fades from view entirely.
On the evenings of May 14th and 15th, the comet will be in the same FOV as M44, the 'Beehive'... May 6th it will be very close to M46 -- 47... should be the first great photo op!
