RE: [APML] Best lens for Pentax 6x7?

Ric,

I have all those lenses, except the 90mm and 200 mm.  In addition, I have the more recent 55 mm f/4.  I just took some astronomical test shots of all my lenses: 45 mm f/4, 55 mm f/4, 75 mm f/2.8 AL, 105 mm f/2.4, 165 mm f/2.8, and 300 mm f/4 EDIF.  I should get the results back by the middle of this week.  I'll let you know which of the one's you mentioned performed the best and at which f-stop.  In addition, I'm hoping I have a few nice Comet Bradfield shots.  Even if I do, it will probably be at least a month before they are scanned, and ready for public display.  Here's a few shots taken several years ago of Comet Ikeya-Zhang with a few of the lenses you are interested in.

In addition, the aurora shots and a few others were taken with the Pentax setup.
