[APML] Astro Day in Hawaii
Got the opportunity of a lifetime to join Meade Instruments
in Hilo Hawaii for Astro Day 2004. This is put on by Gary
Fujihara of the University of Hawaii every year.
After Astro Day we traveled to the visitor's center
on Mauna Kea and spent the night in the astronomer's
quarters. We observed from the visitor's center then
travaled to the sumit at 14,000 feet. The sky was incredible
but fuzzy due to oxygen deprevation.
The following galleries were all taken with my Fuji
S2 pro.
