RE: [APML] The Veil...

Don,
I have piggy-backed my NP101 on top of my LX200 10". Alignment between
the 2 shouldn't make any difference unless it's way way off. It sounds
like the polar alignment was not the problem.

How about flexure? I've been fortunate that using the DR125's to hold my
NP101 has not caused me any problems, but I've only done it a few times.

I'm sure you know the drill, start by process of elimination. You can
probably do the whole dry air purge thing for about $75, not sure about
the nitro purge.

Scott,
I had solid 15 minute no-drift in both axis, but, I did fail
to
check to see if both the Astroview and LX200 were aligned properly. The
Astroview is always mounted in a set of dr125 rings, and had been
aligned
with the 12" last time I was out, but could have moved slightly in
transport. It's in my check list, but I must have missed it. Also, going
back to my notes..I removed the camera right before this shot was taken,
to
check for dew on the lenses, so there is a good possibility that I
didn't
seat the adapter correctly...
