Kirk, don't underestimate the younguns. You may find them eager to learn
but the older crowd assumes that everything works on autopilot or that
younger folk know all about computers already so they may simply not
have been trained.
I would bet if you took in Jerry's S&T article on how to get the most
out of a scanner, they'd be delighted at the insights. My local shop is
now in the habit of giving me a seat at the scanner beside them and I
usually get double prints (second set free) as they are trying out
different settings to get the most out of the prints. They seem
genuinely anxious to learn new things and while I'm a steady customer,
I'm not spending millions there.
