 hey Andrew...

     Welcome to the passion... nay, *obsession* of astro-photography... Don't 
have experience with the EQ-1M... but save yourself some hassle, and put your 
money in a :::REAL::: EQ mount. Yeah... you *could* buy this desk-top toy and 
shoot some rough piggy-back stuff... you might even get some of your money back 
by selling this turd on AstroMart... get to the point man! Invest in a GM-8... 
or be different (like me) and grab a CI-700... whatever... the mount is the 
thing that makes or brakes... tripods get you started - EQ mounts take you 
where you want to go !!!
