I was more frustrated with trying to train a local shop to do good
prints.  I had one guy about 1-1/2 blocks from my office that did the
great prints from my lousy underexposed Cygnus and Cepheus shots but
he went out of business after 9/11 :-(  And I couldn't find anyplace
that would do R-prints cheaply.

It's always hard to judge---I'd love to be able to take and stick a
bunch of them side by side and scan the same slide to see how they
compare, but that's never possible.  As I recall, there was an attempt
to do something like this...in fact, it is on the APML site!
