Hey Roland... my guess is *transparency* plays a huge role in resolving power
vs. exposure time. The night I got my NA nebula wide field, transparency was
simply as good as gets here in the oft hazy GA skies. The seeing was sub-arc
second most of the night, too. Perfect diffraction rings in my 8" SCT with a
5mm reticle EP... shooting from 4700' helps the cause as well... the air *is* a
little thinner up there at Brasstown Bald!
