[APML] A few scanning questions
Hi all !
I got my new scanner the other day, (Kodak RFS 3600), and have a few
questions about scanning black and white.
I tried to do some landscape shots from some Fuji neopan I developed and
there is no profie for the film in my database...Should Kodak have these
profiles to download on their website? Is there such a thing to do?
Also, the BW shots are VERY grainy in the final scan....whats the deal?
Is this film profile related?
Can I fix this?
I also heard that the Silverfast AI5 software is great to use and helps
manipulate better, but Ive yet know wat the big dif is between the Kodak
software or the silverfast....both softwares still leave me with noisey
pictures.
Othe then that, it scans colour slides just fine.
Any advice?
Thanks
Brian
