RE: [APML] My M45 shot at F4, not F10
Sorry I didn't contact you directly about the mistake,
but for the life of me I could not find your e-mail
address among the list of members. I must have just
missed it. :-(
Anyway, it's a nice SCT shot, IMHO. Some funny looking
stars mostly in the top left corner, but good
nebulosity. I hope you don't think I was trying to
use it as a negative example. Kind of a bummer that
you have to download it to view it full size the way
the page was set up. Most people probably won't do
that and will see only the tiny image.

Subject: [APML] My M45 shot at F4, not F10
Allen;
You are correct about my M45 shot in the SCT Imaging
contest. It was shot at F4, not F10 as I incorrectly
indicated. Thanks for catching that error. I used the
focal reducer. I've been trying to image galaxies
with the same setup at F10, rather unsuccessfully.
F10 must be burned in my mind, so maybe that was why
I said F10. My mistake. I emailed Kevin Dixon about
changing the entry. I viewed my shot at the Contest
page many times without catching the error myself.
Maybe I have to catch up on some sleep. Thanks again.
