That would not preclude a piggybacked scope, or long telephoto. I think
he also tried to hint that maybe it was some other kind of mount that
the Meade rode on. The info he gave was minimal at best. His info DID
say though, next to "lens used- 8"Meade Schmidt Cassegrain". I've been
using LX200s for over 10 years now, and I'll lay down and die if that
was shot through a SCT. I'd be more inclined to believe him if he came
out and said that he looked at the wrong notebook and the shot was
actually taken through a short focus refractor, which it was.
