[APML] red sensitive B&W film
I have not tried this film myself yet in 35mm to see how the reciprocity
failure is. But take a look here:
http://www.forte-photo.com/e/rf400.htm
This was the film I was talkgn about earlier. The spectral curve goes
just past 700nm. For those of us in Canada, Eight Elm, the store I just
talked about, sells it in 36 exp, 35mm rolls for $4.00 Cdn per roll -
that's about $2.80 US per roll, give or take. Don't knwo if they mail
order to the USA - I suspect anyhow that Calumet in the USA would carry it.
Never tried it myself in 35mm, but might be worth a look. I tried a box
of 4x5 for somedaylight work, and it's quite pelasant stuff to use, but a
little slower than advertised. Like Agfapan B&W films, it works best if
you expose it one stop slower than advertised - IE: 400 ASA at 200, 100 ASA
at 50, etc.
One warning - do NOT order the 100 ISO version. The 200 and 400 ISO
version go past 700nm, but the 100 ISO version drops off at around
650nm. This is true for 35m and 4x5 formats.
