[APML] Kodak RFS 3600

H guys!
Im shopping for a scanner and would like some feedback on a comparison
between two scanners..
Has anyone used the Kodak RFS 3600 scanner before and what should I expect
as far as it handling darker negs.
There are two in stock and have only been used as displays
How bout vs a Nikon LS 1000 super coolscan?

These are both within my price range used so thats why these are listed.
They are also from a reputable dealer so I dont believe they would be
selling garbage as far as pulling a fast one.
Both so far have had good/bad reviews and opinions.
Just looking for your advice first.

That is unless one of you has a scanner  you need to get rid of :)
