Re: [APML] New image of Jupiter & M44

Hi Chris,

I can't say what causes the apparent split of Jupiter in your image, but I
get the same effect with my TAK FSQ106 on very bright stars near the edge of
the FOV. Notice that the "split" seems to be perpendicular to the radial
through Jupiter from the center of the FOV. Same on the FSQ 106. I haven't
mapped out how far from the center this effect starts. It's got to be
caused by the optics. I have seen it now on yours and my TAKs, but never on
my AP180/f9.
