Re: [APML] Proper exposure for the lunar eclipse

Hi Rick !

I suggest you to vary your exposure time , you can pass all the range of your camera , dont be affraid to pass few rolls on this eclipse ;) In january 2000 , I tried 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , 10 seconds on primary focus of a 10" at f 4 = 1000mm on a fuji superia 800 , the 2 , 4 and 6 gave me good result but I like a litle bit more the one with 2 sec. you can see the result here http://www.spacew.com/gallery/image000183.html

Good luck to all for this eclipse !!!

All,

Does anyone have a recommended exposure for photographing the moon during
the eclipse when it is totally eclipsed?
