I was worried about this too after the last time it was brought up on this
list - and since then i haven't put any color film in the freezer! I had
been freezing all my film for about 3-4 years now and i had never noticed
any adverse effects that i could attribute to freezing, but i wanted to be
safe just in case.
With the film that i still have frozen,i like to put it into the fridge,so
as it thaws a bit more slowly, before finally taking it out to use - i think
this might help if there is an issue with ice crystals causing the grain
clumping. I would also make sure never to re-freeze film which has
previously been frozen but apart from this i'm not going to fuss over it
any more, and go back to freezing - as long as no one comes up with hard
evidence advising against it :)
