IIRC, the last time the subject of film storage came up, freezing was
pretty strongly advised against. Tony Hallas and a couple others say
that freezer storage can lead to cracking, and other stuff that is not
good. I read that warning 5 minutes after I had put 50 rolls of Supra
in the freezer. FWIW, I've had film in the freezer before with no side
effects, but i think the overall opinion is that it will not extend 
the lifespan of the film.
