Do you have any links?  I have access to a full machine shop with a machinist friend at the helm :)  I've toyed with the idea of building a nice GEM.

Any Idea on where to get quality worm gears?

BTW if your mechanically inclined  you can strike out on your own and build your own mount. I've seen several examples over the last several month's with people who have rolled their own and happily doing AP.
