Re: [APML] fisheye Milkyway

Cool shot Dominic!
Is that the 16mm Zenitar lens?
The stars look fairly sharp at f/4, how is it at f/2.8?

Subject: [APML] fisheye Milkyway

Hi all !

Last saturday night , I was near the USA to take the Milkyway even if it dont reached the zenith , surely the conditions will be better for the next month :) It was the first time I saw the sky without light polution , except for Quebec city who glow not high above the horizon. You can see a picture of the MW that I took with my 16mm here http://astrosurf.com/aurores/voielactee16mm.htm you can see also a map showing the region where I was and you can remark that the southern sky is light polution free !!! I'm sure that the MW will have more punch next month.

Clear skies !!!!
