Between the two, the Tak FSQ-106 is the one designed with astrophotography
as it's prime use. The TV101 is designed primarily as a visual scope, as it
only has a 2" focuser. The TV101's focuser is well made, but the Tak's is
larger (4") and much more robust, and includes a nice camera angle adjuster.

Both scopes certainly have produced fine work, but you'll have more
astrophoto options with the Tak.
