Being in southeastern wisconsin myself, dont worry,
im not mad at you....Ive taken up a new hobby which is storm photography since
it always seems to get cloudy around new moon anyways.
Today seems to be exceptionnal with a weak low
front moving in with unsettled air in its wake.
Take your camera out, load it with some provia
400F, set it on a tripod and take some pics of lightning tonight just like you
would startrails....heck...you can even stack if you consistantly are using the
same FOV.
Oh yes...and be careful!
