Hi again Jim--I have followed up on your e-mail chasing satellites using the
program I wrote you about. I have correctly entered the lat long for Casitas de
Gila. I assume the times given are MDT (i.e: GMT minus 6 hours). I am hung up
on one aspect of your e-mails--was the UFO centered at RA 17:24:36 min and Dec
-31:10 or near IC4628 which is
located at RA 16:57 Dec -40:18? Ten degrees is a lot of sky.
For now my best guess is Fleetsatcom 4r with the following info:
Fltsatcom 4r Sat# 12069 Launched 1980
on that date it had a RA of 17h32m52s, and a Dec of -35deg20m3.6 sec
