         Buy the wedge.  The feild de-rotoator takes up a lot of physical 
room, such that, if you try to combine say an off axis guider, and/or a CCD 
autoguider with the de-rotator, not only do you have a pile of weight 
hangin off on one end, but you might physically not have the room to intall 
all devices at once.
