Hi All
I'm sure some of you must have a sense of humour,
and I figured that a little humour interspersed amongst all this
high tech talk over histograms, photons, adu's etc.
can't be a bad thing. I did have a little chuclke over this.
I was scouring the internet for info on my scanner,
and found a german astro photographers site (sorry I don't
remember the name) who uses the same
scanner.
The site was in German and I used an online
translation service to translate from german to English.
Some was helpful, but I wasn't sure about some of
translation. What do you think.

The operating instructions
describe the first steps, i.e. the construction and the installation of the
separate components. A beautiful place on the desk was quickly found. First
remarkably is the beautiful design and the solid processing of the scanner. On
the top side is a flap under which the replaceable bright line is attached. On
the front is a big fly by which the film holders are led. The next step is simple. Simply click the Prescan badge with the mouse and the scanner engine already draws the picture stage. Very remarkably and harmfully is the loud roaring of the engine. Scans can disturb there easily the sleep of two rooms farther in the bed of lying marriage partner. The Prescan is done with automatic sharpness and brightness attitude within fabulous 90 seconds.

I'm trying to find the big fly on the front of my scanner (maybe it flew away), and I wasn't quite sure about the lying marriage partner.
Ha Ha Ha - and have a good day
