Bert, thats one of the best shots yet ive seen of the M13 - comet IZ
encounter. What an interting shape the comets head has in your image.

Hi List:
Here's my latest comet shot, on EC200 this time.
http://www.astronomy-images.com/images/comets/Ikeya-Zhang.M13.15May.htm
I can't see much of a tail on I-Z anymore---making it out on this image may
be optimism more than anything else. I've tried it with both print and slide
films and that doesn't seem to make much difference. Furthermore, I can't
get my ST-4 to guide on the comet anymore---had to guide on a star. But it's
been a nice ride! Thank you, I and Z!
I also tried an early season medium format shot of the North America/Pelican
on Provia 400F. Big improvement over my earlier attempts! This was scanned
at 1200 ppi (the best I can do on 6x7 format).
