Hey Steve,

I don't think so. In the context in which it's
printed, that early of a date seems OK. Let me Quote:
"For about a decade we have been using a
negative-stacking technique that we decribed in this
magazine's August 1989 issue, page 216." I'm reading
from the Nov 98 issue, so it's all within the that
decade time frame.
