[APML] Rising Emu

Hi all,

Matt BenDaniel's splendid southern hemisphere pictures got me into
processing another one of the mosaic images from my last trip to
Namibia/South Africa:

http://canopus.physik.uni-potsdam.de/~axm/photo.cgi?Image=images/rising_emu

This one is a 4-frame mosaic of the Milky Way from Carina through
Scorpius. Notice the dark nebulae, which are known to the Australian
aborigines as "the Emu". I oriented the image such that it resembles
the view of the March/April evening sky, where the Emu rises straight from
the south-eastern horizon.

Comments, suggestions, etc. are always welcome.

Clear skies,

Axel
