Will be doing mainly 35mm work with some webcam stuff. I know an 80mm f/6 isn't the greatest to use as a guide scope, but I'll be pressing my luck getting "ANOTHER telescope ?!?!?!"

Robert,

80mm f/6 should be fine. The most important aspect of a guide scope is a flexure free focuser.

You'll probably want one of the Losmandy 21# weights.

You'd probably be able to mount a piggyback camera on one of the plates with Losmandy DCM-2.

I think a Pelican 1550 case just holds the head. You might want a second case for the weights, CW bar, etc.
