RE: [APML] Moon and Planets



Hello Stan,
I took a stab at the Venus/Moon conjunction with a digital camera
through my TV85 on a Telepod.  I was rigging up my AP for deep sky work.
I went with the overexposed Venus/Moon with Earthshine.  I just could
not get Venus sharp anyway with shorter exposures and I thought the
earthshine was more attractive even if it blew Venus off the pixels.  I
controlled some of the flare around Venus with a selection tool and
curve reduction.  The semi-apo of the TV85 shows it's true colors on
Venus<g>
