 Well thanks to my good friend at the bottom of the hill with his big back
hoe and his brother with a 20 inch chain saw, they worked for a few hours
b/4 the 4 crews of hot shots came in. In so doing they made it possible for
the hot shots to save ALL the homes in this development not just Mike and
Lynns place. The fire came right up to the very edge of the road that goes
to the top of the hill past my place. How they kept it from crossing that
road is nothing short of a miracle. If it had crossed the road then there
would have been NO way to stop the fire and we all would be homeless. The
exception to that may have been my place due to the way I have it cleared,
or so sayeth the fire peoples.

That was a once in a life time experience---one you want to experience only
once in your life time.
