Your 2500 miles would have been nothing compared to the folks from New South
Wales, Australia, who did make it to TSP.

I am intrigued by your

The theory of it is spelled out in the Schmidt ownders manual, but it took
some discussion/explanation from Kent Kirkley to make is sound like plain
English. I gave some thought about how to rig the hardware to do this while
driving home last night. I'll put it on my web site as things come
together. Since I had the now defunct Epoch Instruments address and phone
both on my web site and in my book, I have been asked about Schmidts by a
LOT of people. Now that we have been orphaned by both Celestron and Epoch,
I want to gather as much info on the care and feeding of Schmidts as I can
and post it on my web site to help us take care of these Schmidts by our
selves.
