Going to a darker site will definitely help. Good luck in your future images.

This photo reminds me of my first astrophoto of the Pleiades. I found an old abandoned farm outside Cleveland where I lived at the time. I pulled up the drive, set up my tripod, snapped several 30 second shots on Tri-X film, and then the Sheriff pulled up and said I was trespassing. He didn't understand what I could be doing with a camera at night since everybody knows that you can't take pictures in the dark.
