Scott,
Thanks for the info! I took the part numbers to my local welding supply shop and there were able to get info on them. I will hopefully have them by Thursday - just in time for my first astrophoto trip of the year. I ended up having a camera shop drill an extra hole in my 6x7 body. The one is quite old - I doubt I would ever want to sell it, so what the heck! As for my Nikons, they are too nice. I had also considered drilling through an old back. I'm glad to hear that worked out for you. I will probably go that route assuming I can find some old backs. Thanks again,

I purchased spare backs, so I keep the original backs untouched and have the N2 purge backs to use for astrophotography. This keeps the tripod socket intact and allows for any type of lens/telescope/tripod combination to be used.My "exact" parts are as follows:20 psi regulator - Uniweld Products R1559 Nitrogen RegulatorLow-flow flowmeter and 1/4" to 1/8" adapter kit - CONCOA (Controls Corporation of America) purge meter; model #CON5661001. Adapter kit model #CON5650001.Go to your local welding supply store and you should be able to get what you need there.Scott |
