Has anyone tried using the SBIG programs that come with the
ST-4 for focusing a guide star on the chip?
I tried it for the first time this weekend.
The stars looked more like low resolution blocks than a black and white CCD
image of a star. I used it with a SCT and expected to see an out of focus
doughnut. It looked more like a bunch of blocks put together than a doughnut or
anything else.
Has anyone experienced anything
similar?
