Re: [APML] RTMC

12:00 is better, since there will still be talks going on in the dining hall and in the tent at 11:00. If anyone's interested I have the schedules for the talks in the dining hall and in the tent for Friday through Sunday in MS Word format.

BTW, Huell Howser is expected to attend on Saturday to tape an episode of his TV show, "California's Gold." His crew may be on the main telescope field that evening with some white TV lights for a short time. During a full Moon we don't anticipate that it will be too much of a disruption, although it has been suggested that someone on a bullhorn warn people in the vicinity when the lights are going to be on. One other note: there will be no shuttle van operating from Camp Oakes into Big Bear this year. Other information is available at the RTMC Web site at:

I'll be there Friday and Saturday.  We should all meet on Saturday around 11:00 or 12:00 in front of the meeting hall.  Anyone interested?

Anyone attending RTMC in a few weeks?  I had such a great time last year I can't wait to go again this year.  I know it's going to be a full moon but what better way to waste away a full-moon weekend?
