[APML] Comet Alert!
Tonight at about
8pm, 6th magnitude comet Utsunomia will be superimposed on the planet
mercury. We looked at mercury last night, and it was up high enough at the
end of twilight that a shot may be possible. Here is a map I just
generated showing the position of the comet, with the head actually on top
of Mercury:
