I never looked at the stars...
my main objective was to get M-51 to print like a real photograph but with the
amazing detail of the B&W CCD shot... it works and my 11 X 14 looks all the
world like something shot in color with the 200" .... well, almost! : -
)
I suppose the stars
will acquire more color IF you have the color in your RGB data.
