Re: [APML] Astrophotography blues

Hi!
In my very limited and humble experience I've found two facts to prove true:

1) Throwing big $$ at astrophoto equipment does not guarantee immediate and
good results, but it does help a lot. So, a very expensive gear is nothing
without one's ability, but (almost) so is ability without a good setup.

2) Astrophotography calls for patience and endurance against all sort of
odds that can be summarized by Murphy's laws. However, having a permanent
setup just slams down preparation times: no packing/unpacking, no putting
together / taking apart, no damn drift alignment to perform! Don't tell me
you don't have to take all these things into account! :-))
