Re: [APML] Astrophotography blues

Fred--

More likely he will put the gear on E-Bay and raise the price to, say, $30,000. :-)

There is one blessing if this gentlemen decides that he does not want to pay his dues (i.e.learning curve).  Someone on Roland's wait list will be very happy with the equipment that Mr. Johnson puts up for sale.

Subject: [APML] Astrophotography blues

Dear members of the APML group,

Today I answered an Email from a very frustrated astrophotographer, and I
thought it would be useful to post his words and my reply here.

Roland Christen

From an Email:

Dear Mr. Johnson,

to enjoy my hobby in 30 minutes, or should I expect to take an hour or two
each night to set-up. I have purchased over $25,000 worth of gear, most of
it from you, however,  if the answer is it will take one or two hours to
set-up, then the answer for me is to sell.
