Hi Monty:
In case Mark is away; LE400 is the "Law Enforcement" version of PJ400, the
Kodak film that was the favorite of many astrophotographers for as long as
it was available. When Kodak came out with Supra, they discontinued PJ400
but apparently packaged up their remaining supplies of the stuff as this LE
version and marketed it to the law enforcement community. As noted in Mark's
post, it's available to everyone, not just the police, and can be had in 12
exposure rolls as well as 24. The 12 exp size is quite convenient for astro
work. I've had good results with it, but I'm not sure it's superior to the
new Supra; just starting some trials with Supra. See my web site for some
