Re: [APML] long fl camera lens recom?
ALan,
One lens that seems to have a lot of AP followers is the
Nikon 300 mm f/4.5 which is an APO. I managed to buy one
of these in "ugly" condition mechanically but with
perfect optics for about $150. It really is ugly (dents,
scratches, bent up lens hood) but works perfectly and is
optically an A+. Look in the archives for some lengthy
discussion on this lens.
Also remember, that "you get what you pay for, at best".
